| Day 1-2. | Arrive Barnaul/Novosibirsk, drive to the Altai Mountains.
|

| Day 3. | Paddle down the Chuya River (Class 3). One class 4/4- rapid (The Hippo) can be portaged if necessary. Light boats run, road is along the river.
|

| Day 4. | Paddle down the Chuya River till Katun confluence (Class 3). Two class 4/4- rapids (The Turbine and The Horizon) can be portaged if necessary. Light boats run, road is along the river.

| Day 5-7. | Paddle down the big and playful lower Katun River to Chemal village (Class 2-3). Partially self-support run (at least one night without road alongside).

| Day 1-2. | Arrive Barnaul/Novosibirsk, drive to the Altai Mountains.

| Day 3. | Warm up on the Chuya River (Class 3/4- ). One-day run, light boats, road is along the river.

| Day 4. | Drive to the Shavla River. There will be a few kilometers trek down to the river from the road head.
|

| Day 5. | Rest & Relax. A trek to see famous Shavla Lakes is highly recommended.
|

| Day 6-7. | Paddle the Shavla River till Argut confluence (Class 3-4) and then the lower stretch of the Argut River till Katun confluence (Class 3). 2-day self-support run in a narrow uninhabited gorge.

| Day 8-9. | Meet the car at the Katun River near Chuya confluence. Paddle down the big and playful lower Katun River to Chemal village (Class 2-3).

Karagem / Argut / Katun Whitewater Kayak Expedition

| Day 4. | Drive to the Karagem River. Depending on the road conditions, there may be a few kilometers trek down to the river.

| Day 5-6. | Paddle the Karagem River till Argut confluence (Class 4-5). 2-day self-support run in a narrow uninhabited gorge.

| Day 7. | Meet the car at the Argut confluence. Rest & Relax. Can be topped with a trek to see the class 6 Karagem Breach of Argut.

| Day 8-10. | Paddle down the gorges of the powerful Argut River till Katun confluence (Class 4-5). 3-day self-support run in some of the most remote gorges of the Central Altai.

| Day 11-12. | Meet the car at the Katun River near Chuya confluence. Paddle down the big and playful lower Katun River to Chemal village (Class 2-3).

Chulyshman / Bashkaus Whitewater Kayak Expedition

| Day 1-2. | Arrive Barnaul/Novosibirsk, drive to the Altai Mountains.

| Day 3. | Warm up on the Chuya River (Class 3/4-). One-day run, light boats, road is along the river.

| Day 4. | Warm up in the canyons of the upper Bashkaus River (Class 3/4-). Half-day run, light boats, but no road along. Drive to the Chulyshman River.

|---|
| Day 5-6. | Paddle Yazula gorge of the Chulyshman River (Class 4-5). 2-day self-support run. While self-supported, the road head is still a few hours walk away.

| Day 7. | Drive to the Bashkaus River. Rest & Relax.
|
|---|
| Day 8. | Paddle down the middle Bashkaus River (Class 2-3), reaching the Lower Gorge. This starts a 4(5)-day completely self-support run.

| Day 9-11. | Paddle the Lower Gorge of the Bashkaus (Class 5). 3(4)-day self-support run in an almost inaccessible and extremely impressive and beautiful gorge.

| Day 12. | Spare day.
|
|---|
| Day 13-14. | Drive back to Barnaul/Novosibirsk. If there's some spare time, it might be possible to run Majoy gorge of the Chuya River on the way back (one-day light boats run, high volume Class 5/5+).
